    Amber does my husband's, daughter's & my hair & we're all very happy with her & the salon in general. Believe me -- as a former city slicker who has long been attached to my precision-haircut/angled-short-bob hairstyle -- I am VERY PICKY about my hair. I have paid four times as much for haircuts in NYC, Boston & SF that weren't nearly as good. Amber also does a great job with my husband's "caesar-cut." She shapes it perfectly so it looks neat, flattering & masculine without looking too military or too ... fussy.

    The stylists are really good with children & provide books & toys in the waiting area.Amber has worked here for quite some time & has recently bought the business from Shirley. If you're a fan of Shirley's, no worries. Shirley still takes appointments & seems to enjoy being able to focus on her clients without having all the responsibilities of managing a business.

    They also do manicures, pedicures, & all the other beauty salon stuff. If you also want a massage, you can book an appointment with Patte's Massage upstairs. I haven't had a massage with her, but I've heard good things about her & get the impression that Patte & Amber do a good job of referring clients to one-another & coordinating with each other.
